Team
Dan McClure, M.A.
Founder, CEO
Having spent 19 + years in the fitness industry, and earning Masters of Arts degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University, Dan was experiencing “success” in the fitness industry, but he knew something was missing. In 2003, Dan heard a whisper in his heart to “serve the underserved.” Dan set out to take the experience and education he’d been blessed with and share it with vulnerable communities. Following his heart, he left a successful career and founded Generations Community Wellness.
As Generations begins it’s seventh year, Dan is proud to have reached thousands of vulnerable communities with his message of healthy living and has ever-greater visions for the expansion of the organization.
In addition to leading Generations, Dan serves on many boards and committees as well as teaches as an adjunct professor at San Jose State University.
“Our goal is to help all communities, especially low-income neighborhoods, have high-quality physical activity opportunities and access to healthy food.”
Dan McClure, CEO
